Catching up with a couple of old friends

Here at Woodside we love catching up with old friends and hearing how well they’ve been getting on in their new homes which is why we were so pleased when we were contacted by the owners of Tilly and Toby recently.

Tilly (previously named Swirl) was brought into our care many months ago in a terrible state. Thankfully after receiving care and support from Woodside, Tilly made a great recovery and very recently was adopted into a loving home.

Since being adopted, Tilly has made great progress in her new home.

Her new owner, Charlotte, said: “Tilly is superb, she is such an angel and we have really bonded with her. She follows me everywhere and loves being fussed over”

Tilly has also become best friends with Charlotte’s other cat and the two have become inseparable, spending every second together!

Another friend who found his happily ever after was Toby (formerly Rouch). Since leaving the centre 9 weeks ago, Toby settled in to his new home straight away and loves nothing more than going for long walks in the countryside.

He also loves lazing away on the sofa and lots of cuddles from his new owners.

Toby has also become quite the local celebrity within the community. He is loved by everyone he meets and has become very popular with both the locals and the many dogs within the village.
We couldn’t be happier for both Tilly and Toby, and wish them both all the best in their new homes!
